5N Cruise - DAY3 (Ho Chinh Minh)

Woke up early so excited to explore my first on shore tour..
Ho Chinh Minh (Vietnam): Ben Thanh Market ^_^

looking out the window.. its sailing towards our destination!

this time i clever dun go intl buffet.. go Bella Vista and be served ♥
these can be chosen from a checklist they is provided..
it contains different ways you wish your egg to be cooked and hashbrown, bacon, ham etc.
the better part.. you can order unlimited amts of them!

every morning they will have a daily special.. western and asian.
today i chose western: Egg Benedict (Poached Eggs on a Muffin with Hollandaise sauce)
now you see why i abandoned the intl buffet keke
ps: to add. they even provide continental breakfast buffet filled with types of bread, danish pastry, fruits, cereal, yogurt, salad, juice..
pps: the meals served at Bella Vista is inclusive of the package.. therefore no need pay extra~! ♥♥♥

welcoming scene from the ship..

vietnam ladies dressed traditionally holding balloons waiting for us =)

This bridge is their longest bridge is viet. just finish building it last year..

on da bus ready to explore!

Our viet tour guide "Quaing" ^_^
(he nids to be forgiven for his horrible english.. therefore whatever i can understand from his introduction is minimum.. =S)

this is how their bus stop looks like... RETRO

the tall building is the tallest in viet.. it is said to be 68 stories high..
its a financial building..

notice the statue. its Ho Chinh Minh!
yes this HCM city is named after one of their first presidents. (iirc)

their common streets are filled with motobikes..
i saw a few motorbikes that seats a family of 4.. if not seated with heavy baggage.. and they manage it with a piece of cake.. *kudos*

we were stopped opposite PHO2000 which is a makan place that i did not go..
because their road is IMPOSSIBLE to cross.. if not means i no guts to cross.. their zebra crossing is fake one!

the map of Ben Thanh Market.
Its quite a big place to shop.

a glimpse of this place....

the bigger map.. i think more detailed...
since its all in their own language.. i dun understand a thing.. =(

the common streets just across the market....

actually i was very disappointed with the tour.. and i do not like HCMC at all..
the stall sellers enjoys touting in a very creepy way.. and they tout with b ody contact.. CREEPIER!
i know the things they sell are CHEAP because of the exchange rate.. but the way they sell creeps me out till i never buy anything (literally) nor even tried eating anything.. (thank goodness for sumptuous breakfast!)
i finished walking the market in an hour.. waited for the bus to take me back to the ship for 2hrs.. >"<'''

once i am back on board.. i settled myself for ICECREAM.. ♥ (paid extra)

Walked around the decks.. enjoy the scenic views.. even though there is nothing much.. the waters were not pretty.. i think i ended up at the library again..(one of my favorite hideouts on board)

Dinner @ Pavilion: another inclusive meal that serves chinese food
below shows my 7 course meal ♥

Soup (YUMZ)

Prawns... ♥ ( i ordered 2 plates of this..)

.
Vegetable..

Jelly Fish with Century Egg (Yucks!)

Steamed Fish with Garlic Soya Sauce ♥

with all that must have rice! ^_^

Grean Bean soup with Yam Cubes (YUCKS!)

to satisfy my sweet tooth flaw.. i went up to the intl buffet to see what dessert they have!
the scenic view of vietnam..
the low clouds signifies that its gonna rain..

i saw wonton mee... so tried one bowl.. not bad..

the agriculture area of viet..
ps: did u notice that one area of the land is raining?

this is the adult pool area..
it has 4 jacuzzi tubs located at 4 corners...
in the evenings, they have live band that performs too..

to make my day a marvellous one.. i came to see
Magic Show!
It is by Illusionist Philippart.
We were told that he performed in many places.. including the royal families..

bought the popcorn package that comes with 2 coke and a pkt of potato chips..
made me miss Garretts Popcorn.. *drools*
